I remember Maury as a good friend who lived a life of aces!

No son ever had a finer, more caring man for a father. His life served as an inspiration for me, and has guided me in my life as the father of two wonderful children and husband to Sharon, my wife of almost 33 years. He will be deeply missed by all.

When we first heard of this gentleman, Maury Etzell, we were vacationing at our cottage at Silver Lake, Michigan. He called our mother every single day. We knew it was serious. The following January they were married. Over the years we spent many vacations together - Silver Lake, Nags Head, Branson, Caribbean cruises, a cruise on the Mediterranean - and we really got to know our new stepdad. He loved to travel, dance, play tennis, read, and socialize. He and my husband, Fran, liked to sit and enjoy a bit of scotch or a glass of wine. He had a hard time keeping all of our family members straight, but, for the most part, I think he enjoyed having us around. As for us, we will miss him. Carol Willmes
